A young man only identified as “Bless” was stabbed to death by a suspect known as “God First” during an attempted robbery in Kakata City, Margibi County.
According to Emmanuel Tophic Degleh of Classic FM in Kakata, Margibi County, the tragic incident unfolded over the weekend
Degleh reported that Bless had traveled with his aunt from Monrovia to Kakata to attend a family member’s graduation. While returning home, they were accosted by a group in the New Kakata Community who tried to steal Bless’s Bluetooth headphones.
When he resisted, one of the attackers stabbed him in the neck with a sharp object. Although he was quickly taken to the Kakata Health Center, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m., approximately three hours after the attack.
The incident has shocked the local community and raised serious concerns about public safety. Police have begun an investigation, but the suspects remain at large as details continue to emerge.
