Ganta City, Nimba county……..Nimba County Senator Nya Twayen Jr. has officially broken ground for the construction of the Boyee-Kpain Bridge in Meinpea-Mah Administrative District #8, Nimba County.

During the groundbreaking ceremony today, Senator Twayen assured residents that the bridge project will be completed within one month.

Chief Engineer Abayomie Wiefue confirmed that construction is set to commence immediately tomorrow. Once completed, the bridge—previously a dangerous crossing point for motorcyclists, marketers, and residents—will provide safer and more accessible travel between Kpain and several surrounding towns.

As part of the event, Senator Twayen also extended support to victims of a recent storm disaster in Boyee, Zarsonnoh, and Tiayee towns. His donations included bags of rice, zinc sheets, cement, and cash assistance to those affected by the storm, which struck in January, causing serious property damage and injuries.

Meanwhile, the senator’s ongoing appreciation tour of citizens and voters across Nimba County will continue to several locations, including Gbanah (Cocopa and Gbor) in District #5, Dinplay in District #7, Bahn, Zogeh, and Saclepea. Other stops include District #9 (Zekepa, Kwedin, and Graie) and District #6 (Tappita and Behwalay).
