The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) says it has surpassed its 2024 revenue target, collecting over $692 million, with an additional $10 million under reconciliation. 

Making  the disclosure on Tuesday January 14, 2025, LRA Commissioner General Dorbor Jallah expressed pride in the collective efforts that led to this achievement. 

This success reflects the commitment and collaboration of all stakeholders, including taxpayers, staff, revenue-generating agencies, and development partners,” he stated.

The Commissioner General commended Liberian taxpayers for their compliance and contributions, describing them as the cornerstone of the LRA’s success. He also applauded LRA staff for their dedication and professionalism in exceeding the $690 million target.

Looking ahead to 2025, Mr. Jallah highlighted key priorities, including enhancing taxpayer compliance, promoting transparency, adopting advanced technology, and fostering stronger partnerships with stakeholders. 

He called for continued collective efforts to build a self-reliant and prosperous Liberia.

“This milestone is a celebration of what we can achieve together and a rallying call for even greater accomplishments in the future,” Mr. Jallah concluded.
