Grand Bassa County: Mr. Jacob Bestman, former representative candidate of Electoral District #5 in Grand Bassa County and current Co-chair of the Lee Davis Foundation, has sharply criticized the performance of the district’s current lawmaker, Hon. Thomas Goshua.‎‎

Speaking to residents, Mr. Bestman expressed deep disappointment in Rep. Goshua’s leadership, arguing that the lawmaker has “failed to advance the district developmentally.”

‎‎”Rep. Goshua has not kept citizens informed about key issues affecting the district and has become a serious embarrassment to District #5.” ‎‎

He further alleged that after nearly eight years in office, the representative has not made the kind of personal or infrastructural progress expected of a leader.‎‎ Mr. Bestman is therefore calling on young people and all citizens of District #5 to vote Hon. Goshua out in the upcoming 2029 elections.

‎‎In addition to his criticism, Bestman announced that he will formally petition Hon. Lee Davis to contest the representative seat. ‎‎”Davis has undertaken meaningful projects and has made impact made in every corner of Electoral District #5,” he said.

He has demonstrated stronger leadership qualities and a deeper commitment to community development.”‎‎

Mr. Bestman concluded that Hon. Lee Davis would be “the best representative for the district in 2029,” urging residents to rally behind him for a more transformative future.
