Gbarnga, Bong County — A prominent Liberian Lawyer and Clergyman; Cllr. David Woah, is admonishing the Boakai-Koung Administration to avoid being selective in the prosecution of alleged corrupt government officials.
According to Cllr Woah, Liberia’s fight against corruption should be a holistic one and void of witch hunting.
He furthered that if the Boakai-Koung Regime must succeed in its quest to fighting corruption, the need to investigate and prosecute all former and current officials of government alleged of corruption should not be downplayed.
Meanwhile, Cllr. Woah asserted that the current Administration is mostly focused on prosecuting officials from the CDC regime while leaving out former officials from the Ellen Johnson’s Regime with a call for inclusive justice.
“We need to be holistic in the fight against corruption. Being selective in our prosecution will undermine our quest, so let’s do away with it.”
Cllr. Woah who is also harboring intention of contesting Liberia’s 2029 Presidential elections, however, rallied Liberians mostly the Kpelleh People to support the vision of electing a President from the Kpelleh Ethnic Group comes 2029.
“It’s time for the Kpelleh people to lead this Country. Those who have served this Country are not better than us the Kpelleh people”.
He made these statements on Wednesday during an Interview with Journalists in Gbarnga.
