Sinje, Grand Cape County (November 4,2024) Montserrado County Saah Joseph as part of his regular contribution to Health Care Delivery to the people of Liberia donated a forty-foot container filled with medical supplies to Grand Cape County.
Joseph stated that the donation is part of a nationwide of donations to medical supplies and equipment to various Counties from a package of 200 containers commitment made by his partners for the people of Liberia.
The Liberia Lawmaker has made donations to Grand Bassa, Bong, Montserrado including Grand Cape Counties, while stressing that other Counties Bomi, Gbarpolu, Lofa, and others are expected to benefit from the initiative.
The forty containers of Medical Supplies and equipment were accompanied by $20,000 USD worth of essential drugs.
In remarks, Grand Cape Mount County Senator Simone Taylor expressed appreciation for the assorted medical supplies to the County.
Senator Taylor recounted the mountainous of challenges the health facilities in the County currently faced. He vowed that the supplies will be distributed to hospitals and clinics within the 7 districts of the County.
