Montserrado County Saah Joseph as part of his regular contribution to Health Care Delivery to the people of Liberia has donated a forty-foot container filled with assorted medical supplies to Bomi County.
During the donation exercise Monday(December 2,2024) in Tubmanburg, Senator Joseph stated that the donation is part of a nationwide health care initiatives to various Counties from a package of 200 containers commitment made by his partners for the people of Liberia.
Bomi County is among 5 Counties that have already received similar donation (Grand Bassa, Bong, Grand Cape, Bomi and Montserrado Counties ).
The Montserrado County Senator emphasized that the donation of medical supplies will extend to other Counties .
The forty-foot container of Medical Supplies and equipment were accompanied by $10,000 USD worth of essential drugs.
In remarks, Bomi County Senators Edwin Snowe and Alex Tyler expressed appreciation for the assorted medical supplies to the County.
Both Senators recounted the enormous challenges health facilities in the County currently faced. They vowed that the supplies will be distributed to hospitals and clinics within the 3 electoral districts of the County.
