MONROVIA – Liberia’s National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) has launched the MyNASSCORP mobile application, a digital platform designed to enable employees to monitor their Social Security contributions and improve transparency and accountability across the country’s Social Security system.

The application was unveiled on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Sinkor Palace Hotel in Congo Town before an audience that included government officials, employers, representatives of public and private institutions, business leaders and workers.

The mobile app allows contributors to check whether deductions made from their salaries are being remitted to NASSCORP by their employers, view their contribution history and monitor their Social Security records from their mobile devices.

Launching the application, NASSCORP Director General Dewitt B. von Ballmoos described the platform as a major milestone in the corporation’s digital transformation agenda.

“Today marks a new chapter in how we serve the Liberian workforce. The MyNASSCORP app empowers every contributor with direct access to information about their Social Security account, promoting transparency, accountability and trust in our system,” Mr von Ballmoos said.He urged employees to take advantage of the new technology by regularly checking their accounts to ensure their contributions are being properly remitted.”

Every employee has a responsibility to know the status of their Social Security contributions. This application gives workers the ability to monitor their accounts and quickly raise concerns whenever discrepancies arise,” he said.

The Director General also appealed to employers to continue complying with Liberia’s Social Security laws by remitting employees’ contributions accurately and on time.

“We call on all employers to fulfil their legal obligations by making timely and accurate contributions. Protecting workers’ future benefits is a shared responsibility, and this platform will strengthen confidence between employers, employees and NASSCORP,” he added.

For many workers, the application addresses a longstanding challenge of confirming whether contributions deducted from their salaries were reaching the Social Security system. Missing contributions have often only been discovered when employees applied for benefits or prepared for retirement.

Employers attending the launch also welcomed the initiative, saying the platform would help reduce disputes by allowing both employers and employees to verify contribution records more easily.Government officials, business leaders, representatives of various institutions and ordinary workers praised the launch, describing it as a significant step towards modernising Liberia’s Social Security administration through technology.

NASSCORP said the MyNASSCORP app forms part of its broader efforts to digitise its services, improve customer experience and strengthen public confidence in the country’s Social Security system.
