KAKATA_ Sekou Kalasco Damaro, Special Aide to Ex-Liberian President Weah has officially broken ground for the construction of a modern bridge linking the Dartu-ta and Mandingo Quarter communities in Kakata.
The groundbreaking ceremony held on Monday, February 17, 2025 brought together citizens from both communities with local leaders.
In a brief address, Kalasco reaffirmed his commitment to working with the people of MarGibi County to implement impactful development Projects that would positively contribute to the livelihood of citizens. He emphasized that, as dedicated public servant his goal is to contribute to long-lasting improvements in the lives of residents of MarGibi County.
Kalasco expressed confidence that the construction of the bridge will significantly ease transportation challenges faced by both communities, thus fostering better connectivity and enhancing daily commutes.
He further clarified that his initiative is not driven by political ambition but rather a genuine desire to alleviate the hardships citizens endure due to poor infrastructure. The bridge is estimated at US$ 10,000.00
Meanwhile, Citizens of both communities thanked Hon. Kalasco for coming to their aid. They promised to cherish the bridge when constructed.
