The Embassy Tree a social non-political all men Organization has celebrated its 5th anniversary since its establishment in 2019 with a charity dinner that climax the many activities.

The highlight of the month-long anniversary celebration was a grand charity dinner on April 25, 2025, held at the Paynesville City Hall. This prestigious event brought together leaders from the government, philanthropic organizations, academia, political parties, and religious institutions to celebrate The Embassy Tree’s journey and support its ongoing initiatives.

Making remarks at event marking the dinner night celebration, Mr. Niasekah Gluaseay, head of the organization outlined the Embassy tree achievements including assistance provided to people in need.

According to him, what started as small group of friends coming together during the Covid-19 pandemics has grown into a tree of hope and organization deeply rooted in the hearts of Liberia committed to dignity, opportunity and support for the vulnerable in the Liberian society.

Amongst the many contributions to society, the Embassy Tree has assisted stranded mothers at JFK Hospital, twice (2023 & 2024) spending over LD$250K, donated food and supplies to orphanages and mental health facilities around Monrovia. The Embassy Tree has also empowered women in Nimba and Grand Bassa Counties with business start-up support.

The Embassy Tree has also constructed a hand pump for safe drinking water on the GSA road, donates school supplies annually and host children’s Christmas parties every December for kids from surrounding communities. On a large scale, the Embassy Tree contributed 100 bags of cement to the St. Edwards Catholic Church on the RIA highway and installed an LEC light pole serving the broader GSA road community amongst many others.

In remarks, Deputy Finance Minister Tanneh G. Brunson, challenged members of the Embassy Tree to lead the change they want to see in society in the wake of profound challenges, Economic uncertainty, climate change, social inequalities and institutional fatigue.

The Deputy Finance Minister also proud the Embassy Tree as being a generation that sees challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities to create impact, to inspire new ways of thinking, and to contribute meaningfully to our shared human journey. “We are here tonight to celebrate more than just achievements, we are here to celebrate intentions, impact and a shared belief in the power of transformation.

“In every generation, progress is fueled by those who dare to think differently, work harder, and rise above the limits of circumstance. Whether you are building businesses, leading community efforts, or sharpening your skills for the future, you are laying the groundwork for change, for growth and for leadership and in a world that often feels too cynical, your energy is not just refreshing it is very necessary.”

She concluded her statement by encouraging members of The Embassy Tree to continue on the path with courage, discipline, and compassion as the Journey of transformation is rarely easy.
