Journalists from Liberia represented by Willie Tokpah and six other West African countries including Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Togo and Guinea have been invited as part of the annual media junket organised by QNET, an international direct selling company specialising in lifestyle and wellness products to tour its corporate head office, QI Tower in Malaysia.

The Tower is a 15-storey building hosting the global corporate head office of the company.

The main objective of the visit to Malaysia is to help the media and general public, especially in Liberia, understand the truths about its business model and excellent product.

Journalists toured the QNET head office before they proceeded to the island of Penang.

At the QI Tower, a testimony that QNET exists and it is a genuine business with good intentions for Africans and the world, journalists visited the QNET product gallery to see, touch and feel the array of lifestyle and wellness products that the company manufactures for Africans and the world.
Journalists toured the corporate office, the product gallery and the conference facility where a presentation was made to introduce the company’s business structure, philosophy, business model and products.

Journalists were able to observe that QNET, which is 26 years old, is a real company with a real office and real people working there.

Journalists were also introduced to the corporate social responsibility arm of the company called RYTHM Foundation (Raise Yourself To Help Mankind), which is implementing impactful and humanitarian projects to help people around the world.

Journalists arrived in Malaysia on June 19, to see, feel and experience QNET and also participate in the VCON (V-Convention), a flagship event organised by QNET which brings together government officials, media, marketing experts, independent distributors and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

During this first day of discovery, particular emphasis was placed on QNET’s activities in Africa, especially Liberia, where malicious individuals use the identity of the company to defraud innocent people.

It is clear that QNET has nothing to do with these scammers and QNET is working to fight scams and misinformation.

This is one of the reasons why it brought journalists from different Africans countries to visit Malaysia and see everything about the company and spread the truth about company’s operations.

During the tour, it was repeated several times that QNET does not offer job offers abroad and does not require any exorbitant payment in exchange for a job. QNET does not give scholarships or visas to anyone. QNET is not a Ponzi or investment scheme. QNET says anyone who spreads such misinformation should be reported to the security agencies or to QNET through its WhatsApp hotline: +233256630005 or email at network.integrity@qnet.net
QNET mentioned all the anti-scam campaigns it is implementing across Africa such as the “QNET Against Scams”, “Say No” and others.

QNET continues to educate the general public on how to identify scams and how to understand the truth about QNET and all its quality and globally certified products.

QNET is also engaging government and security agencies in many African countries to help them understand what the company’s business model is, the challenges with people misusing its brand name and products and how collaborative efforts can help minimise or eradicate the unfortunate situations.

Journalists are in high spirits and are currently experiencing the official opening ceremony of the V-Malaysia on Penang Island on June 2, where thousands of QNET independent distributors have gathered to learn, share testimonies and recharge their energies for the direct selling business that is changing the world for the better.
