Remarking earlier, the President of the Bong County Technical College, Dr. Alfredson Taikerweyah, Sr. noted that the selection of Dr. Eric Forkpah as VPAA is in compliance with previous regulations from the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) for the attainment of certain academic credentials by individuals occupying the position.

Dr. Taikerweyah further clarified that following the receipt of the mandate, the institution published a job advertisement, announcing vacancy for the position.

He averred that deadlines for the vacancy were twice postponed and Dr. Forkpah being the only applicant was eventually accepted by the institution based on his academic credentials.

Dr. Alfredson Taikerweyah meanwhile committed to work with Dr. Forkpah for the growth and development of the institution while expressing hope that he would dutifully execute his functions.

“We are hopeful that joining us will adequately beef up our efforts in ensuring that we improve our status amongst higher learning institutions in Liberia and the World”
