In a tragic incident, Liberia National Police Patrolman Elton Bahn has died from injuries sustained during a confrontation with fellow officer Jeremiah Takpor, reportedly over a single piece of chicken foot.

Bahn’s family confirmed his death early this morning at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia, where he was transferred for further treatment after initially being treated in Karnplay City, Nimba County.

A widely circulated video captured the disturbing altercation between Bahn and Police Support Unit officer Takpor.

According to eyewitnesses, the fight began after Bahn accused Takpor of selfishly consuming their shared meal.

The situation escalated when Bahn allegedly grabbed the last piece of chicken foot from Takpor, which Takpor reportedly considered an act of insubordination.

The exchange led to a physical fight, resulting in severe injuries for Bahn, including a broken spinal cord.

Officer Takpor is now in custody at the Liberia National Police headquarters, facing an investigation into his role in his colleague’s death.
