Ganta, Nimba……Hon. Nyahn Flomo Sr., Representative of Nimba County District #2, has generously donated food supplies to the Ganta Rehabilitation Center and non-food items to several locations in electoral district #2, including Duo Tiayee and Borsonon towns in the Yapea region.
According to the district coordinator, Mr. Bob Gleatee, this donation is part of the lawmaker’s efforts to address the needs and development priorities of the citizens. The donations include 10 bags of 25kg rice to the Ganta Rehabilitation Center, 15 mattresses to the Duo Tiayee maternal waiting home, 10 bags of rice and cement, and a cash donation of 10,000 to the staff of the facility as their seasonal package. Additionally, several plastic chairs were donated to the Borsonon town hall, and the donation will also benefit several organizations and institutions in Sanniquellie.
Mr. Gleatee vowed to ensure that Representative Nyahn Flomo Sr. continues to work tirelessly to uphold the trust placed in him.
In response, Elvis Nyan Gonleseh, acting administrator of the Ganta Rehabilitation Center, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that it will support the administration’s efforts to cater to the needs of patients, who are usually fed three times daily.
A few months ago, Representative Flomo held consultative meetings with citizens from different clans and regions of district two, during which they suggested and proposed their development priorities and needs. The lawmaker believes that such strategies will help accelerate development initiatives and address key areas of intervention in all the clans, including the construction of markets, town hall rehabilitation, road connectivity, and providing safe drinking water through solar systems, ensuring that every citizen benefits from his leadership.
It can be recalled Representative Flomo dedicated a modern market hall and latrine in New Gbeisella town during his appreciation tour and broke ground for an additional classroom annex for the Dingamon public school months ago. Citizens have praised the lawmaker for his strong stance on governance reform, legislative oversight, and attention to critical issues affecting Liberians, as well as for his efforts in developing his district with various undertakings.
According to the citizens, they are pleasantly surprised to see the lawmaker ensuring that their voices and needs are reflected in every development decision-making consultative meeting, something they did not experience with past representatives.
