In a statement released by the Senate, it was announced that Mr. Eric Cassell has officially joined as the new Financial Advisor, effective October 2, 2024. This appointment reflects the Senate’s commitment to improving financial integrity within its operations.

The Financial Advisor will report directly to President Pro Tempore Karnga-Lawrence, offering regular updates on financial matters, including audit outcomes and recommended actions. The initial contract for the position is set for three months, with the potential for extension based on performance and the Senate’s ongoing needs.
