Criminal court ‘C’ resident judge Blamo Dixon has declined to entertain arguments in the separate motion for justification of the defendant’s criminal appearance bond.

It can be recalled that the prosecution lawyers filed separate motions for the justification of the defendants criminal  bond and the separate exception to the defendants  bonds.

Defendants Samuel Tweah, former finance minister and his co-defendants are currently before criminal ‘C’ undergoing trial for their alleged crimes of economic sabotage , theft, misuse of public money, among others

During Wednesday’s court hearing, judge Blamo Dixon declined to hear the matter on grounds that the case is not on the dock for the August term of court.

According to judge Dixon, the case was transferred from criminal court ‘A’ on September 5, and the prosecution and defense has failed to advance a motion to have the case placed on the docket for the August term.

He added that the August term of court ended the transaction of business on September 30, and its chamber section has two more days to expire.

Meanwhile, the judge has ordered the clerk of court to dock the case for the November term of court, and in the same vain ordered the prosecution to furnish the defense team with every piece of evidence.
