VP Road, Oldest Congo Town: Four major opposition Parties, the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Alternative National Congress (ANC), Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE), and Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) have issued a ultimatum to President Joseph Boakai, demanding he comply with the Supreme Court ruling on legislative legitimacy or face mass Citizen action.
Joined by civil society Leader Mulbah Morlu and the Supreme Motorcyclists Union, the coalition accused President Boakai of crossing a “dangerous red line” by defying The Supreme Court’s ruling.

Speaking at the occasion Former Vice President of Liberia and Standard Bearer of The National Patriotic Party, Madam Jewel Howard Taylor, declared the ruling Unity Party led government actions a constitutional breach. “The Rescue Agenda is just a story,” she asserted, referencing President Boakai’s governance plan. “We will ensure the government abides by the Supreme Court’s mandate”. She noted.

Delivering a fiery address, Acting Chairman of CDC Atty. Janga Kowo , warned President Boakai urging him before Tuesday to retract his stance or face legal and popular backlash. “What’s keeping you in power is the Liberian people-not the army or police,” Acting Chairman Janga Kowo asserted.
“From now to Tuesday, there will be no sleep. We will mobilize the people!” he also demanded the immediate reinstatement of security details for embattled Speaker J. Fornati Koffa following the ruling from the full bench of The Supreme Court.

Additionally, Former CDC Chairman and now Lead Advocate of The Solidarity and Trust For a New Day Mulbah K. Morlue furthered stated, “President Boakai has two choices, to lead constitutionally or leave.” He revealed plans for mass protests, emphasizing, “We paid for his US 1 million car and fuel.
Moreover, Supreme Motorcyclists Union President Trokon TobeAman Gray II brought grassroots comparison of President Boakai’s defiance to the court-issued bike ban they reluctantly obeyed. “If we followed the laws, why can’t the President? We’ll fight until order is restored,” Trokon TobeAman Gray vowed.

However, The Alternative National Congress(ANC) Acting Chairman Lafayette Gould outlined a documentation strategy against the ruling Unity Party led government “illegal acts.”
“Governing without the rule of law is dictatorship. They lack the quorum to legitimize their actions” He stated.
