We are proud to introduce Mr. Aaron D. Kubahn, the esteemed General Manager and Co-Founder of DN-News Liberia. Mr. Kubahn is a seasoned journalist with over a decade of experience in broadcast media, marked by dedication, professionalism, and an unwavering passion for quality journalism.
Prior to co-founding DN News Liberia, Mr. Aaron Kubahn built his career at FARBRIC Radio, where he served in multiple capacities, including Reporter, Sub-editor, Editor, and Talk Show Host.
He was specifically assigned to cover the Liberian Senate as a legislative reporter. During his time at FARBRIC Radio, Mr. Kubahn also hosted two popular programs, New Dawn and Night Time Radio, showcasing his versatility and deep connection with audiences.
Following the acquisition of FARBRIC Radio by Spoon Network, Mr. Kubahn continued his professional journey under the Spoon Communications umbrella, maintaining his commitment to journalistic excellence. While at Spoon, he served as Producer of Spoon Flagship program “The Spoon Talk” and Editor in Chief of Spoon News. Mr. Kubahn is also an Alumnus of New Narrative Fellowship Under the US Embassy Funded program.
Academically, Mr. Kubahn is a proud graduate of the University of Liberia, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. He also holds a diploma in Journalism and has acquired several professional certificates in areas such as election reporting, conflict-sensitive reporting, and health reporting.
Beyond the media, Mr. Kubahn briefly served as Media and Communications Officer in the office of Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon from March 2024 to March 2025, adding valuable public sector communication experience to his portfolio.
